The National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS) develops mutually beneficial bilateral partnerships and participates actively in multilateral fora and to further our ambitions in space.
Bilateral partnerships
NSAS has Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with France, India, Luxembourg, Thailand and the UAE. We also have Letters of Intent (LOIs) with the European Space Agency (ESA), Maldives, Spain and the Mekong River Commission (MRC). We are also intending to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with Japan in 2026.
Multilateral engagements
NSAS is an active participant at the multilateral stage to ensure space remains a safe and sustainable domain for all. Examples of our participation include:
Hosted the 33rd ASEAN Sub-Committee on Space Technology and Applications (SCOSA) in Oct 2024.
Regular attendance at the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) to assure to foster partnerships and accelerate innovation across the APAC region.
Active member of the UN Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space since 2019. UNOOSA and OSTIn also collaborated on a Technical Advisory Meeting on the "Space Law for New Space Actors" project.
Signatory on the Artemis Accords in 2022.
